RAPPELS is a key reference site about professional theatre productions in Quebec. It provides detailed, interactive information – added progressively – on theatre productions staged across Quebec since the early 20th century.
By the spring of 2026, the site featured details on more than 7,000 French-language productions out of a potential total of approximately 20,000. Preparatory work is currently underway on the indexing of Anglo-Québec productions.
A Tribute to a Man of Theatre and Culture
Pierre MacDuff initiated the RAPPELS project, which he led and managed for over ten years. The Board of Directors and the Rappels team pay tribute to this man of theatre and culture, who passed away on August 25, 2026. Development of the database is ongoing.
